We will always try our best to get you seen at the surgery closest to your home. To make an appointment please telephone or call in to the surgery.

If you can’t make an appointment you have booked, please let us know so we can give the slot to someone else.

GP appointments are now available in our area during the evenings and at the weekend. This may not be with your own GP. You may be offered these appointments by our Reception Team.

Community Pharmacy Consultation

When calling the surgery, our trained team may offer you a referral to see your local community Pharmacist.

You will be referred consultation with a fully qualified pharmacist at a local pharmacy. It involves a clinical assessment and conversation with the pharmacist. This will be in the privacy of a consultation room.

The pharmacist has the right clinical training to assess you and recommend the best treatment for some common conditions.

If your symptoms suggest it’s more serious, the pharmacist will help you to get an urgent GP appointment if needed.

If you don’t need any treatment the pharmacist will be able to provide reassurance. For instance, a minor illness may get better on its own.

To help with symptoms, the pharmacist may offer to sell you an over-the-counter medicine.

The pharmacist will make a record of the outcome and send it to your GP.

Book Appointments Online

We now offer the facility to order repeat prescriptions, and also book or cancel appointments online. These online services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for your convenience.

In the interests of confidentiality, you will need to register your interest, and provide ID to ensure that the request is coming from you. This can be done by downloading and completing the practice's registration form.

Due to the current situation with COVID19 we will not be taking completed application forms for online access in the practice. You can either email us or call the practice, where someone on reception may ask you some questions which only you would know the answer to in order to verify your identity. We would then post your access pin ASAP.

Improved Access Appointments

We now offer appointments every week outside of normal working hours. This means that, on certain days, we can offer our patients appointments early in the morning (before 8am) or later in the evening (after 6:30pm). These may be with GPs or members of our Nursing Team.

We also offer appointments on Saturday mornings. If you would like to book any of these appointments please speak to a member of our Reception Team.

(Please be aware that Saturday morning appointments are for routine issues only. We are not currently able to offer any Same Day/Emergency Appointments at weekends. Telephone lines remain closed at weekends)
