Jade takes overall responsibility for the management of the practice, its services and its staff.

Deputy Practice Manager

Charlotte’s general role is to assist and support the Practice Manager and to deputise for the Practice Manager when absent fro the practice.


Our team of admin staff work behind the scenes to keep the practice operating efficiently. They look after our computer system, keep patient notes organised and help in our dealings with the local Primary Care Trust. They also carry out regular audits of our work and help with the research that we do in the practice. They arrange for patients with chronic disease to have regular check-ups.

Our receptionists ensure that all surgeries and clinics run smoothly. They organise appointments, repeat prescriptions, home visit requests and take telephone messages. They also scan hospital letters and correspondence into the computer system as well as dealing with all queries from the public and outside agencies.

Our secretaries perform many valuable roles including the typing of referral letters, reports and minutes of meetings. They arrange patient transport and admissions and help the doctors and practice manager with administration. They deal with queries from patients and hospitals.
